About this product
Quickgreen is a productive grazing mix for horses in work that need plenty of grass. Three perennial ryegrasses give rapid establishment and high yield, backed by fescues, smooth-stalked meadow grass, Timothy and a small herb component.
Suitable for donkeys?
No. Around 70% of this mix is perennial ryegrass, which produces lush, high-sugar grazing. It is not suitable for donkeys, native ponies or any animal prone to weight gain or laminitis. For donkeys, choose Thin Pickings or Upland Heritage.
What success looks like
Quick green cover within weeks of sowing and a high-yielding paddock from the first season, best managed with rotational grazing to avoid overgrazing.
