Bee & Butterfly 80/20 Meadow Mix
£19.80 – £2,592.00Price range: £19.80 through £2,592.00 inc VAT
The Bee & Butterfly 80/20 mix provides the structural stability of a grass-and-flower meadow with a wildflower component specifically chosen for pollinator value. Species are selected to provide continuous nectar and pollen from April through to October, with late-flowering plants included to support bees and butterflies into autumn when other sources are scarce.
The 80% fine native grass matrix gives the meadow permanence and resilience, making this a good choice for garden meadows, school wildlife areas, and community habitat strips where the mix needs to last year on year with minimal intervention. Heights range from 30cm to 100cm.
Sow at 5g per square metre into low-nutrient, scarified, exposed soil. Spring and early autumn sowings both establish well. Cut once in late summer and remove cuttings โ this single annual management step is what keeps the wildflower content high. The pollinator value increases each year as the perennial species mature.
Sourced from Wildahome’s own meadows and UK partner farms. 100% British native species.
